| Summary, etc. | Ce volume rassemble les communications présentées lors du colloque qui s’est tenu au musée des Beaux-Arts et d’Archéologie de Besançon le 21 février 2024, étape finale du projet I-Site Making Sequania space. Territorial identity and patrimonial dynamics. Cette journée avait pour objectif d’offrir une meilleure visibilité à quelques-unes des problématiques liées au territoire séquane (funéraires, religieuses, sociales, économiques, politiques…), en approfondissant notre connaissance de cet espace, de ses limites, de son organisation, de sa population et de ses habitudes, principalement dans le cadre chronologique que nous avons retenu, allant de la conquête césarienne aux réformes de Dioclétien (Ier siècle avant J.-C. - fin du IIIe siècle de notre ère). Les contributions ont été organisées en quatre axes. La première traite de quelques aspects de la structuration de l’espace séquane. Les questions économiques sont ensuite abordées à travers la circulation des monnaies sur le territoire, tandis que la société séquane est appréhendée grâce à l’étude de l’onomastique de la population et de ses pratiques cultuelles. La dernière partie, intitulée « Les Séquanes dans le temps », permet d’envisager la façon dont les Francs-Comtois ont perçu et valorisé leur héritage antique. |
